Target Information
High affinity copper uptake protein 1 (CTR1), also known as solute carrier family 31 member 1 (SLC31A1), is a protein that is encoded by the SLC31A1 gene in pigs. It has been identified as a cuproptosis-regulatory gene. And it may be a potential key biomarker and therapeutic target in cancers. In S. cerevisiae, the copper uptake genes CTR1, CTR2, and CTR3 have been identified, and in humans, the CTR1 and CTR2 genes have been identified.
