Target Information

SLC2A1, also known as Glucose Transporter 1 (GLUT1), is a uniporter protein encoded by the SLC2A1 gene. It facilitates the transport of glucose across the plasma membranes of mammalian cells. Solute Carrier Family 2, Facilitated Glucose Transporter Member 1 is encoded by the SLC2A1 gene in pigs. SLC2A1 is a member of the SLC transporter family and is involved in various cell death modalities. It has been associated with the prognosis and immune microenvironment of different tumors.
