Target Information

Milk fat globule-EGF factor 8 protein, also known as lactadherin, is encoded by the MFGE8 gene in pigs. Research has shown that MFGE8 is an effective anti-inflammatory agent contributing to the chondroprotective effects of periodontal ligament-derived stem cells-conditioned media on acutely injured porcine talar articular cartilage.
