Target Information
Transcription Factor AP-1 (also known as Activator protein 1) is a multifaceted transcription factor that regulates gene expression in response to various stimuli. Transcription Factor AP-1 is encoded by the JUN gene in pigs. The activator protein-1 (AP-1) transcription factors are important regulators of cell proliferation and differentiation. Research has suggested that the expression and DNA-binding activity of AP-1 factors in follicular structures changes with luteinization.
