Target Information

The interleukin 4 receptor (IL-4R) is a type I cytokine receptor. It exists as a heterodimer, composed of two subunits. Interleukin 4 Receptor is encoded by the IL4R gene in pigs. IL4R is a cytokine involved in the immune and reproductive systems. Porcine IL4R genes may contribute to reproductive traits in pigs and could be used as candidate genes to improve litter size traits in the pig breeding industry.

Target/Biomarker Porcine IL4R
