Target Information
C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 12 (CXCL12), also known as stromal cell-derived factor 1 (SDF-1), is a protein that plays a role in various physiological and pathological processes. C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 12 is encoded by the CXCL12 gene in pigs. CXCL12 is abundant in reproductive tissues. Research has shown that 10 ng/mL CXCL12 can induce denuded oocytes to extrude PB1, suggesting that a direct CXCL12-CXCR4 interaction occurs during porcine IVM.
