Target Information

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that is essential for the synthesis of collagen, a protein important in the formation of connective tissue and in wound healing. It acts as an antioxidant, protecting against damage by reactive molecules called free radicals. Vitamin C has a selective effect on the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in sera of lambs with pneumonic pasteurellosis when used in combination with tulathromycin.
