Target Information

Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) is a hormone produced by the hypothalamus that plays an important role in regulating the reproductive system. It is a peptide hormone responsible for the release of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) from the anterior pituitary. Dysregulation of GnRH can impact fertility, puberty, and various reproductive disorders. Research has shown that GLP-1 may act at the level of the secretory terminals of GnRH neurons in the median eminence to stimulate GnRH secretion.
