Target Information

Mouse adenovirus type 1 (MAV-1) leads to both acute and persistent infections in mice, characterized by high viral loads in the brain, spinal cord, and spleen during the acute phase. MAV-1 targets endothelial cells throughout the mouse, and monocytes/macrophages are also believed to be key targets of the virus.
