Mouse Transforming Growth Factor Beta Receptor II (TGFbR2) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

TGF-beta receptor type-2 (TGFBR2) functions as a transmembrane serine/threonine kinase, forming a specific receptor complex with the TGF-beta type I serine/threonine kinase receptor, TGFBR1, to bind the TGF-beta cytokines TGFB1, TGFB2, and TGFB3. In mice, TGFBR2 is involved in a wide array of complex functions including tumorigenesis, tissue development, immune regulation, fibrosis, and metabolism. Mice lacking TGFBR2 exhibit defects in intervertebral disc development, loss of joint space, and abnormal bone morphology.
