Mouse T Lymphoma Cell Line-E.G7-OVA
Product Overview
E.G7-OVA T lymphoblasts were derived in 1988 from the C57BL/6 (H-2b) mouse lymphoma cell line EL4. E.G7-OVA is a model system used to study major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I-restricted responses of cytotoxic T lymphocytes in mice. E.G7-OVA cells contain a single inserted plasmid copy that constitutively synthesizes and secretes ovalbumin (OVA). C57BL/6 mice immunized with E.G7-OVA cells produce H-2 Kb-restricted cytotoxic lymphocytes specific for the OVA 258-276 peptide.
