Target Information

Ribonuclease T2-A is an enzyme vital for the innate immune response, as it identifies and degrades RNA from microbial pathogens for detection by TLR8. It specifically cleaves single-stranded RNA molecules between purine and uridine residues, contributing significantly to the production of catabolic uridine and the formation of purine-2',3'-cyclophosphate-terminated oligoribonucleotides. RNASET2 is key to several biological processes, including tumor suppression, immune regulation, and nervous system functionality. Under hypoxic conditions, RNASET2 can enhance its expression via the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, thereby influencing the function of dendritic cells.

Target/Biomarker Mouse RNASET2
Target Synonym Rnase-T2; RNASE6PL; RNASE6-PL; Ribonuclease 6
