Target Information

In mice, ribonuclease A (RNase A) is primarily involved in anti-tumor immunity, thrombosis regulation, and immune modulation. RNase A significantly contributes to anti-tumor immunity; experimental studies demonstrate that RNase A can markedly inhibit tumor growth, particularly when combined with other agents such as Cpd 1, resulting in enhanced inhibitory effects. Additionally, two highly homologous RNase genes have been identified in mouse eosinophils, suggesting a connection to the eosinophil-related enzyme family and highlighting the diverse roles of the RNase family in the immune system. RNase 1 (RNase A) also plays a role in regulating thrombosis in mice. Research indicates that RNase A can prevent or mitigate RNA-mediated thrombosis.
