Mouse Renal Tubular Epithelial Cells-mRTEC
Product Overview
mRTEC (mouse renal tubular epithelial cells) are cells derived from mouse kidneys. These cells have an epithelial-like morphology, grow adherently, and have been immortalized through Sv40 and hTERT gene transfection, making them suitable for long-term culture and experimental use. They can be used to study the role of renal tubular epithelial cells in kidney diseases, such as their reabsorption of glucose and amino acids from the glomerular filtrate and their involvement in inflammatory responses.
