Mouse Pancreatic Islet Endothelial Cells-MS1
Product Overview
MS1 mouse pancreatic islet endothelial cells are an endothelial cell line derived from the mouse pancreas, established in 1994. This cell line was obtained by transfecting primary cultured islet endothelial cells with the anti-G418 temperature-sensitive SV40 large T antigen (tsA-58-3) and then selecting resistant clones that absorbed dil-Ac-LDL. MS1 cells retain many characteristics of endothelial cells, including the uptake of acetylated LDL, and the expression of Factor VIII-related antigen and VEGF receptors.
