Mouse Olfactomedin 4 (OLFM4) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

Olfactomedin-4 may support the proliferation of pancreatic cancer cells by facilitating the transition from the S to G2/M phase. In myeloid leukemic cell lines, it suppresses cell growth and encourages cell differentiation and apoptosis. It may also play a role in inhibiting the phosphorylation/deactivation of EIF4EBP1. Olfactomedin-4 aids cell adhesion, likely through interactions with cell surface lectins and cadherin. In mice, OLFM4 is involved in regulating inflammation, immune response, cancer progression, and tissue repair. Its specific mechanisms of action include influencing apoptosis, immune response, and disease progression by directly or indirectly modulating key proteins like MMP-9, p53, and cathepsin C. In the DSS-induced colitis model, mice lacking OLFM4 exhibited more severe inflammatory responses and increased intestinal permeability.
