Mouse Leydig Tumor Cell line MLTC-1
Product Overview
The Mouse Leydig Tumor Cell line MLTC-1 was established from a serially transplanted M548OP Leydig cell tumor in C57BL/6 mice. MLTC-1 cells retain the original tumor's responsiveness to hormones. Treatment with human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), luteinizing hormone, cholera toxin, sodium fluoride, and guanylyl-5'-imidodiphosphate increases membrane adenylyl cyclase activity in MLTC-1 cells. Furthermore, in response to hCG, MLTC-1 cells can also produce progesterone.
