Mouse Interleukin 24 (IL24) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

Interleukin-24 is a versatile cytokine primarily produced by T-cells and plays a key role in regulating immune responses, maintaining tissue homeostasis, defending the host, and influencing oncogenesis. It has antiviral properties and can induce the type I interferon response during influenza infection. This cytokine operates through two receptor complexes, IL20RA/IL20RB or IL20RB/IL22RA1, subsequently activating the JAK1-STAT3 and MAPK pathways and enhancing the secretion of pro-inflammatory mediators such as IL8 and MMP1. In mice, IL-24 is involved in numerous functions, including immune regulation, inflammation suppression, tumor inhibition, neuroprotection, and treating skin diseases. Furthermore, IL-24 participates in skin barrier repair in mice by inhibiting TGF-α-induced keratinocyte migration and proliferation.
