Mouse Interleukin 20 (IL20) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

Interleukin-20 (IL-20) is a pro-inflammatory and angiogenic cytokine primarily secreted by monocytes and skin keratinocytes, playing crucial roles in immune response, regulation of inflammation, hematopoiesis, and the differentiation of epidermal cells and keratinocytes. In mice, IL-20 is involved in various functions, including immune regulation, inflammatory response, and tissue repair. In mouse models, IL-20 has significant roles in bacterial infection, such as Klebsiella pneumoniae infection, and in chemical liver injury, like CCL4-induced liver damage. Research has shown that IL-20 induces cell cycle arrest by upregulating TGF-β1 and p21WAF1 expression. Mice lacking IL-20 (IL-20−/−) exhibit reduced circulating bacterial loads and a diminished liver inflammatory response.
