Mouse Interleukin 11 Receptor Alpha (IL11Ra) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

Soluble interleukin-11 receptor subunit alpha (sIL11RA) is a form of the IL11 receptor that acts as an agonist for IL11 activity. The IL11:sIL11RA complex binds to IL6ST/gp130 on cell surfaces, inducing signaling even in cells that do not express the membrane-bound form of IL11RA, through a process known as IL11 trans-signaling. In mice, IL11RA (interleukin-11 receptor α chain) is involved in various functions, including hematopoiesis, reproduction, tissue regeneration, fibrosis, and pathological processes in disease models. Although IL11RA knockout mice (IL11RA-/-) maintain normal hematopoietic ability, the differentiation of osteoblasts in their bone marrow is inhibited, suggesting that IL11RA might indirectly participate in hematopoiesis by influencing osteoblast function.
