Mouse Interleukin 1 Delta (FIL1d) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

IL-1δ (also known as IL-1 delta) is a newly identified member of the IL-1 family in mice, with functions and mechanisms of great importance in immunological research. Unlike other IL-1 family members, IL-1δ displays distinct functions. For instance, it can inhibit the signaling of IL-1epsilon by binding to the IL-1 receptor-related protein 2 (IL-1Rrp2), thereby exerting anti-inflammatory effects. Additionally, IL-1δ is highly expressed in embryonic tissues and, under certain conditions, can inhibit NF-κB activation, indicating its potential role in modulating immune responses. In mice, IL-1δ is abundantly expressed in embryonic tissues, particularly in the skin, lung, and stomach. However, its expression is relatively low in adult tissues, which may relate to its significant role in embryonic development.
