Mouse Hippocampal Nneuron Cell Line-HT22 is a subclone of HT-4 and is highly sensitive to glutamate, making it frequently used as a research model for glutamate-induced neurotoxicity. Through induced differentiation, HT-22 cells can exhibit characteristics closer to those of mature hippocampal neurons, thereby playing an important role in the study of neurodegenerative diseases, neuroinflammation, neuroprotection, and drug screening.
