Target Information
DnaJ homolog subfamily B member 1 interacts with HSP70, enhancing its ATPase activity and facilitating the interaction between HSC70 and HIP. It serves as a negative regulator of heat shock-induced HSF1 transcriptional activity during the attenuation and recovery phases of the heat shock response. Additionally, it promotes ATP hydrolysis and assists in the folding of unfolded proteins mediated by HSPA1A/B in vitro. In certain inflammatory models, the expression level of Dnajb1 varies; for instance, in the smoke extract-induced apoptosis model of pulmonary vascular endothelial cells, miR-23a-3p alleviates lung inflammation by targeting Dnajb1. Moreover, in the follicle-induced airway inflammation model, Dnajb1 overexpression inhibits Th17 cell differentiation, thus impacting the immune response.
