Mouse Glioma Cell Line-GL261-OVA
Product Overview
The Mouse Glioma Cell Line-GL261 is a widely used model for studying glioblastoma (GBM). This cell line was chemically induced and originates from the C57BL/6 mouse strain. It's highly proliferative and invasive, accurately mimicking the histological features of human glioblastoma. GL261 cells carry point mutations in the K-ras and p53 genes, which are significant drivers of glioma development. Mouse Glioma Cell Line-GL261-OVA are GL261 cells infected with lentivirus and stably overexpress OVA.
