It originated from an astrocytoma induced by implanting methylcholanthrene into the brains of Km mice, which then transformed into a glioma after 120 passages. G422 cells can be used for glioblastoma research, drug screening, basic scientific research in related fields, and the construction of tumor cell transplantation models. Mouse Glioma Cell Line-G422-Luc are G422 cells transfected and stably express firefly luciferase.
