Mouse Glioblastoma Cell Line-CT-2A-Luc-GFP-Puro

Cat. No.CC9F106

Product TypeAnimal Cells and Cell Lines

Product Overview

The CT-2A mouse glioblastoma cell line is an important and widely used model in research on malignant brain tumors. This cell line originates from a malignant astrocytoma in the brains of C57BL/6J mice, characterized by its high vascularity and malignancy. CT-2A cell line is formed in the brains of C57BL/6J mice through the implantation of 20-methylcholanthrene. CT-2A cells exhibit high tumorigenicity in both in vitro and in vivo experiments, making them an ideal model for evaluating new treatment methods and drug screening. The cells were transfected with lentivirus to carry the GFP gene and firefly luciferase gene.
