Mouse Fibrosarcoma Cell Line-MCA205-Luc
Product Overview
Mouse Fibrosarcoma Cell Line-MCA205 originated from a 3-methylcholanthrene-induced fibrosarcoma in C57BL/6 mice. The tumor was maintained in vivo through serial subcutaneous transplantation in syngeneic mice, and individual cell suspensions were prepared from solid tumors via enzymatic digestion. The MCA-205 cell line was established from these cells and maintained in vitro. MCA-205 is a weakly immunogenic fibrosarcoma-derived cell line. These cells are widely used as a stimulus to induce cytokine expression and have been employed in numerous studies to induce tumor-reactive T lymphocytes, a critical aspect of adoptive immunotherapy. The MCA-205 mouse fibrosarcoma cell line is an excellent model for studying immune responses to tumor cells and supporting the development of targeted cancer immunotherapies. The cells were transfected with lentivirus to carry the firefly luciferase gene.
