Mouse Embryonic Fibroblast Cell Line-NIH/3T3 is a highly contact-inhibited, continuous cell line established from NIH Swiss mouse embryo cultures. To cultivate substrains morphologically more suitable for transformation analysis, the established NIH/3T3 cell line underwent more than five rounds of subcloning. This cell line is handy for DNA transformation and transfection studies.
