Target Information
Dual specificity protein phosphatase 15 (Dusp15) is capable of dephosphorylating proteins such as MAPK13, ATF2, ERBB3, PDGFRB, and SNX6. In mice, Dusp15 serves various functions, including the regulation of cell proliferation, signaling pathways, myelination, and neural regeneration. It plays a crucial role in cell proliferation, particularly within the TGF-β signaling pathway, influencing cell growth and differentiation by modulating the JNK cascade and ERK pathway. In the context of neurodegenerative diseases, Dusp15 expression is decreased in the hippocampus, but its impact on memory and cognitive function remains unclear.
