CT26 cells are an undifferentiated type of colon cancer cell line derived from a BALB/c mouse, following induction by N-nitroso-N-methylurethane (NNMU). Known for their high tumorigenic potential, these cells are capable of forming tumors in syngeneic mice, thus serving as an important model for researching tumor growth, metastasis, and immune responses. Mouse Colon Carcinoma Cell Line-CT26-Luc-OVA are a cell line stably expressing firefly luciferase and OVA obtained by infecting CT26 cells with lentivirus.
