Target Information
OX-2 membrane glycoprotein, also known as CD200 (Cluster of Differentiation 200), plays a role in costimulating T-cell proliferation and may regulate myeloid cell activity across various tissues. This type-1 membrane glycoprotein features two IgSF immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane region, and a cytoplasmic domain that is 19 amino acids long. The function of CD200 in mice is mainly reflected in its regulatory effect on the immune system, especially in inhibiting inflammation and promoting neuronal differentiation. The function of CD200 may also be related to the differentiation and development of neurons. For example, the miR-200 family plays an important role in neuronal differentiation and proliferation, and CD200 may participate in the regulation of neurons by interacting with these molecules.
