Mouse Chemokine C-C-Motif Ligand 6 (CCL6) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

Chemokine C-C Motif Ligand 6 (CCL6) is a chemotactic factor primarily attracting macrophages, but it can also attract B cells, CD4+ lymphocytes, and eosinophils. CCL6 serves as a crucial immunomodulator in mice, promoting the migration and activation of monocytes and macrophages through its interaction with the receptor CCR1, and thus is pivotal in inflammatory responses. For instance, in an acute peritonitis model, CCL6 levels were significantly elevated, and neutralizing CCL6 effectively reduced macrophage infiltration, underscoring its critical role in inflammation. Additionally, CCL6 is linked to eosinophil-related inflammatory responses. In asthma mouse models, elevated CCL6 expression increased eosinophil infiltration, whereas CCL6 knockout mice exhibited considerable alleviation of allergic airway inflammation.
