Mouse Chemokine C-C-Motif Ligand 3 Like Protein 1 (CCL3L1) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

CCL3L1, also known as MIP-1α, is a chemokine that primarily functions by binding to the CCR5 receptor. In mouse models of obesity, the expression of CCL3L1 is increased, facilitating acute inflammatory responses by recruiting and activating polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs). Variation in the copy number of the CCL3L1 gene is linked to the risk of various autoimmune diseases. For instance, a high number of CCL3L1 copies is associated with an elevated risk of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and type 1 diabetes (T1D). CCL3L1 might also influence the tumor microenvironment by modulating the migration and function of immune cells. Post-translational modification of CCL3L1 by CD26 can enhance its binding affinity to CCR5, thereby promoting tumor cell migration and aiding in immune evasion.
