Mouse C-C Motif Chemokine 22 (CCL22) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

C-C motif chemokine 22 is chemotactic for activated T-lymphocytes and may be crucial in facilitating the interaction between dendritic cells and B-lymphocytes with T-cells during immune responses. CCL22 enhances immunosuppressive functions by binding to the CCR4 receptor on regulatory T cells (Tregs), promoting cell contact between Tregs and dendritic cells (DCs). This interaction is vital for maintaining immune homeostasis and preventing excessive inflammatory responses. In vaccination experiments, CCL22-deficient mice (Ccl22−/−) exhibited stronger T cell responses, highlighting CCL22's significant role in damping excessive T cell immunity. Notably, the frequency of OVA-specific CD8+ T cells was significantly elevated in CCL22-deficient mice, with CCL22-expressing DCs playing a central role in T cell immunity.
