Mouse Bladder Cancer Cell Line MB-49-GFP-Puro
Product Overview
Mouse bladder cancer cell line MB-49 is a widely used cell model for bladder cancer research. This cell line was derived from a bladder carcinoma in C57BL/6J mice and exhibits characteristics of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. It's often used to establish orthotopic bladder cancer models to study tumor growth, invasion, metastasis, and therapeutic responses. When cultured in vitro, MB-49 cells can secrete various matrix metalloproteinases (such as MMP-2 and MMP-9), which break down the basement membrane and promote cancer cell migration. The cells were transfected with lentivirus to carry the GFP gene.
