Target Information
Bisphenol A (BPA) is a widely produced chemical extensively used in the synthesis of plastics. It ranks among the highest volume chemicals manufactured globally. BPA is metabolized rapidly in mice, with its metabolites (such as glucuronide conjugates) excreted primarily through urine. However, even low-dose BPA exposure may produce significant biological effects. Both male and female CD-1 (ICR) mice exhibit high sensitivity to exposure to low doses of BPA during their developmental stages. Although a large number of studies have shown that BPA has a variety of adverse effects on mice, some studies have pointed out that due to metabolic differences between species.
