Target Information
Rat neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) is a protein involved in innate immunity and tissue repair. It is expressed in neutrophils and other immune cells, where it plays a role in antimicrobial defense by binding bacterial siderophores. NGAL also participates in the regulation of inflammation and tissue remodeling. In the kidneys, NGAL serves as a biomarker for acute kidney injury, reflecting cellular stress and damage.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
