Target Information

Rat MIP1a, also known as CCL3, is a chemokine produced by macrophages and other immune cells in response to inflammatory stimuli. It plays a key role in immune responses by recruiting lymphocytes, monocytes, and basophils to sites of inflammation. MIP1a binds to chemokine receptors CCR1, CCR4, and CCR5, promoting cell migration and activation. It is involved in various inflammatory processes and has been implicated in the pathogenesis of several autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
