Rat Androgen Receptor (AR) is a nuclear transcription factor that binds testosterone and dihydrotestosterone, regulating genes controlling male sexual differentiation, prostate development, and muscle growth. Upon ligand binding, AR translocates to the nucleus, activating target gene expression essential for secondary sexual characteristics and spermatogenesis. Expressed in reproductive tissues, muscle, and brain, AR is a key target for studies of androgen physiology, endocrine disruption, and prostate biology.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
