Target Information
Canine Syntenin (SDCBP) is a multifunctional protein containing two PDZ domains that facilitate protein-protein interactions by binding to the cytoplasmic C-terminus of transmembrane proteins. It plays a crucial role in cellular signaling, adhesion, and migration. Syntenin is involved in organizing nuclear PIP2 pools, which are essential for cell division and survival. This protein is also implicated in endosomal transport and the regulation of protein complexes.
