Target Information
Canine Regulated on Activation, Normal T Cell Expressed and Secreted (RANTES), also known as CCL5, is a chemokine produced by activated T cells and other immune cells. It plays a crucial role in recruiting leukocytes, particularly monocytes, T cells, and eosinophils, to sites of inflammation. RANTES acts through the CCR1, CCR3, and CCR5 receptors, mediating various immune responses. This chemokine is involved in immune regulation and has been implicated in the pathogenesis of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases in dogs.
