Mouse Amine Oxidase, Copper Containing 3 (AOC3) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

Amine oxidase [copper-containing] 3 facilitates the oxidative deamination of primary amines, converting them into their corresponding aldehydes while simultaneously producing hydrogen peroxide and ammonia. This enzyme shows a preference for the primary monoamines methylamine and benzylamine and can also act on 2-phenylethylamine, although with significantly lower efficiency. In mice, AOC3 plays several crucial roles, such as regulating immune responses, promoting tumor metastasis, and being involved in atherosclerosis and metabolic disorders. Notably, in AOC3-deficient mice, leukocyte migration efficiency is markedly reduced, leading to a diminished inflammatory response, yet the immune response to nonspecific microbial stimulation remains unaffected. Additionally, AOC3 is a key player in regulating the homing ability of lymphocytes to lymph nodes.
