Target Information

Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus pentosus, and Lactobacillus paraplantarum collectively form the Lactobacillus plantarum group. Research indicates that L. plantarum and L. pentosus are the most commonly isolated probiotic lactic acid bacteria (LAB) from various Mediterranean fermented olive varieties and regions. These bacteria can influence the microbiota composition and functions of the gastrointestinal tract in broilers during production.
