Target Information
Canine parvovirus is an extremely contagious virus that primarily affects dogs and wolves. It is easily transmitted from one dog to another through direct or indirect contact with infected feces. While the virus predominantly targets puppies between six and 20 weeks of age, older dogs can also be susceptible. Common symptoms of CPV include lethargy, depression, and a decreased appetite, followed by a sudden high fever, vomiting, and diarrhea.
