Target Information

Gibberellic Acid is a naturally occurring plant hormone that functions as a highly popular plant growth regulator (PGR) in global agriculture. It is widely used to stimulate cell elongation, accelerate seed germination, promote flowering, and increase fruit size in crops such as grapes, citrus, potatoes, and various grains. Its connection to animal-derived food safety stems from potential dietary carryover into the livestock supply chain. When cattle, poultry, or sheep graze on treated pastures or consume forage, silage, and grain byproducts harvested from fields sprayed with gibberellins, they can ingest the chemical.
