Fusion Cells of Mouse Neurocytoma and Rat Glioma-NG108-15
Product Overview
Fusion Cells of Mouse Neurocytoma and Rat Glioma-NG108-15 was formed by the fusion of mouse N18TG2 neuroblastoma cells and rat C6-BU-1 glioma cells in the presence of inactivated Sendai virus. These cells can synthesize and release the neurotransmitter acetylcholine (Ach), and they possess neuronal processes, ion channels, and enzymes characteristic of normal neurons. This makes them a good neural cell model for simulating the pathological changes seen in AD (Alzheimer's Disease).
