Chlorantraniliprole is a broad-spectrum insecticide belonging to the anthranilic diamide class. It is widely used to control various insect pests in crops such as rice, corn, cotton, fruits, and vegetables. As with other pesticides, its residues can be present in crops that are used as animal feed. The insecticide can then be transferred to and accumulate in the tissues, milk, and eggs of livestock.
