Target Information

Chicken TNF-alpha is also known as lipopolysaccharide induced TNF factor (LITAF). It plays a role in endosomal protein trafficking and in targeting proteins for lysosomal degradation. It may also contribute to the regulation of gene expression in the nucleus. It binds DNA (in vitro) and may play a synergistic role in the nucleus in regulating the expression of numerous cytokines.
