Target Information

Toll like receptor 2, also known as TLR-2, is a protein encoded by the TLR2 gene. As a membrane protein, TLR-2 is expressed on the surface of some cells, recognizes foreign substances, and transmits appropriate signals to cells of the immune system. Research showed that the expression of TLR2 was significantly increased in the intestine of chickens challenged with necrotic enteritis.
