Target Information

The enzyme NAD(P)H quinone dehydrogenase 1 is encoded by the NQO1 gene in chickens and is found in the cytosol. Due to its high expression levels in many solid tumors, often enhanced by Nrf2 upregulation, research has actively focused on creating compounds activated by NQO1 and delivering drugs targeted to this enzyme.
